One out of twenty-five days I spent in Brisbane was bright and sunny. Of course, I’m exaggerating.. I decided to take photos with my aunt beside the pool inside their compound. We have more shots that I have to share with you soon! I’ll probably sandwich it in between my series of photos I made with Annika.
A typical day in Brissy would be waking up by 8:00 and going somewhere with my (and her friends) an hour later. Just hitting the malls usually. I’ve grown to love Aussie brands such as Forever New, Dotti, Ally and even Jay-Jays (Although I didn’t buy anything for myself there, it reminded me of my grungy, kick-ass little sister, Aina). We’ve also been to Brisbane museum, city center, Indooroopilly, Mt. Coot-tha Lookout, Mt. Ommaney, Chermside, among many others. Around Queensland, I’ve been to Gold Coast mostly to meet my friend Angel and Australia Zoo in Sunshine Coast. Me being me, my free times were spent on painting, the internet, baking, cooking and eating. What I’ve learned from this trip is to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Gosh, I wish I could make baking as a profession.
