The Cold-Weather Beauty Essentials

I wasn’t in any of the cold-weather countries I would want to be in this winter but I’ll still be sharing some tips especially for my friends who are visiting Tokyo or Hokkaido next month. Personally speaking, I like being sure of the products I’m going to use even before buying them. So I strictly follow everything that “cosme” suggests. Cosme is a beauty community for (mostly) Japanese people. Everyone shares their beauty reviews and by the end of the year, cosme sums up the best beauty products according to the community. I’ll divide this list between the basic must-haves (items that I tried myself and found effective) and add-ons (products that are highly recommended by cosme that I want to try next time). Let me know if you want an extensive explanation about this post. All products can be bought in Japan.

The basics

  1. Biore UV AQUA Rich Watery Essence SPF 50+* / ALLIE SPF 50+ (I love both / I can’t choose)
  2. Cow Beauty Soap
  3. Bifesta eye make-up remover
  4. Revlon Color Stay foundation*
  5. Canmake Cream Cheek*
  6. Shiseido Ultimate Power Infusing Concentrate
  7. Minon Amino Moist (moist charge milk)
  8. V05 Super Keep Hair Spray
  9. Cure Natural Aqua Jel (for gentle peeling)*
  10. Lush Full of Grace (solid moisturizing serum)
  11. Maquillage by Shiseido powder foundation

Add-ons

  1. Shiseido eyelash serum
  2. Shiseido spots cover foundation

  7. Oh! Baby House of Rose body scrub
  8. ettusais Premium amino caviar creme
  9. Clinique Even Better essence lotion (I think I’ve tried this back when I was in uni but I forgot so I have to try again)
  10. LancΓ΄me Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate
  11. Curel lip balm
