🍁 My Secret Japan Autumn Spots 🍁

img_0391Sharing my favourite autumn spots in Japan on this post. Hope it’ll be useful for your Japan Autumn 2016 trip!

img_0393For Tokyo, you can check OurKawaii.Tokyo Autumn 2016 Guide. My fave is Shinjuku Gyoen though. img_0394Close to Tokyo, I’ve been around Fuji Five Lakes (Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefecture) during Autumn 2013 (check my previous blog post here). It was too beautiful for photos. Words can’t express either. Perfect time to visit is mid-October.img_0395Another destination I can’t forget would be Hakone (see my Hakone Autumn 2014 post here). I wasn’t able to visit Kyoto in Autumn that year so I settled for the nearest place I could go. Fall foliage is very pretty nonetheless. Best time to visit is early to late November.img_0396 Kamakura (see my previous post here) is also a good option if you’re already in Tokyo area. Best time to visit would be late November to early December. _mg_0398Now onto my FAVOURITE Autumn destination.. KYOTO! Just last autumn, Coleen (my sister) and I went to Tofukuji for their famous fall foliage. IT WAS BREATHTAKING. You’ll pass by Taiko-an Temple while walking to Tofukuji. It was also beautiful, I wanted to cry. Perfect time to visit would be mid to late November. See my Autumn in Kyoto post last year here._mg_0400 Arashiyama (make sure to take the romance train), Kiyomizudera and Eikando are also some of the best spots in Kyoto. Best time to visit would be late November to early December. _mg_0401In Osaka, I usually go around Osaka castle. It will be mostly yellow instead of red but it’s still the colours of autumn. For Autumn Color Reports 2016, check it here.img_0404 img_0405 _mg_0406I wish to go to Hokkaido someday for Autumn..
