What Area to Stay in Osaka? 🌃

img_0520 I’ve been asked about this question many times.. hopefully this post would give an answer.

img_0521 I usually stay at my sister’s place in Hirakata-shi, Osaka (where I took all these photos). The area is very typical looking but I loved it. It’s only reachable via Keihan line. Last summer, I stayed at an airbnb place located at Shin Osaka station. You can check airbnb places hereimg_0522img_0523img_0524Places with Tsutaya and Starbucks are my fave. I can read / scan magazines and books, use the internet / plug for free just by buying a cup of coffee. My fave is white mocha in the smallest size. I order it all the time in Japan.img_0525img_0548 img_0549 img_0550 img_0551 img_0552 img_0553For hotels I’ve only stayed at Hyatt Regency Osaka. It’s perfect if you’re going to spend your time in USJ but it’s time consuming if you’re heading to the main cities like Kyoto or Kobe as well. Check my Osaka adventures here.img_0538 img_0540 img_0541 img_0542 img_0543 img_0544 img_0545 img_0546 img_0547For airbnb location, I highly suggest staying around Namba, Shinsaibashi, Umeda and Shin-Osaka (if you’d like to roam around mainly in Osaka). Hirakata-shi is in the middle of Osaka and Kyoto so I like it. Which area did you stay at on your last trip? Share them please! 🌙

During my 4D3N stay in Osaka last June, I tried the homestay-ing (check out homestay.com) with a local Japanese family in Takatsuki, Osaka. It was an awesome experience! I also stayed at B&S Eco Cube, a capsule hotel, for one night. Crossed out 2 items in my bucketlist! 🙂
