๐Ÿ“Checking In: Balerย

This long weekend, Justin’s family and I drove to Baler, the capital city of Aurora Province for a quick escape from Manila. ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿš•๐Ÿš™๐ŸšŒ๐ŸšŽ

Things To-Do:

I usually check tripdavisor before trips for research about things to-do but since this trip was spontaneous, I wasn’t able to do much. Aside from the following

Surfing at Sabang Beach ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŒŠ

Of course, the highlight of this trip. When I was younger, I used to watch Lilo & Stitch a lot. There was a time that I’m addicted to collecting Stitch items and dreaming about surfing. It didn’t happen until today. My first surfing experience was a blast! I was able to stand-up and balance myself while on the board. RIDING THE WAVES. WOOT!

Heard Mass at Baler Catholic Church โ›ช๏ธ

We left Manila early Sunday morning and heard the the mass at Baler. They speak fluent Tagalog.

Lunch at Bayler’s Restaurant ๐Ÿ•

I’m not sure if I’m just hungry or if Bayler’s whole chicken was that good but I ate 8 slices! I also loved their kare-kare.

Dinner at Paddle Out Grill ๐ŸŸ

I highly recommend their pork ribs, tuna belly, tuna panga and sinigang na maya-maya. All I do is eat. *sigh*

I want to go back to Baler soon and surf some more! I was so happy! ๐Ÿ˜
