I’ve been searching cruelty-free Philippine (Filipino) brands lately but I haven’t found a lot to make a list so I’ll be sharing it with you post by post instead. First brand that popped into my mind when you say “cruelty-free Philippine brand” is Beach Born. It is a all natural, handcrafted, cruelty free beauty brand my Japan lover, blogger friend / idol Sarah. Last Blogger’s United 11, I bought my very first Beach Born product from her – it’s the bam balm. She gave me a sea salt spray as a freebie. Then recently, Sarah gave me Beach Born dry shampoo so I can try it. Why I like it? First, it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals (carcinogens, pesticides, toxins). It’s all natural. Second, of course it’s affordable. You can get it for only Php 218 (more or less $5). I still do wash my hair every single day since I live in a tropical country but I assure you, Beach Born can save your bad hair day without wearing a hat / cap.
