The Best Time To See Cherry Blossoms in Japan This 2017

Β This is my first post for 2017~ I think I ought to greet you Happy New Year! As usual the holidays have been busy and it took me long to recover from my seasonal writer’s block. Hope you had a good break and welcome back to reality.

For most parts of Japan, like Osaka and Tokyo, Cherry Blossoms season usually happens from end of March to first week of April. At the same week, it will be also a transition period from winter to spring so there will be a lot of rain. Nevertheless, it’s my favourite week in Japan because of the pretty Cherry Blossoms of course. Seeing four seasons definitely leave me in awe every time since I’m originally an island girl. I love seeing the snow, autumn leaves, flowers during spring and white sand beach for summer.

My top spots for seeing the Cherry Blossoms would be:

  1. Philosopher’s Path inΒ Kyoto
  2. Naoshima, The Art Island
  3. Awaji, The Flowers Island
  4. Inokashira Park, Tokyo
  5. Shizuoka

How about you? As always, let me know if you have more questions!

From my one visit lang, I really like my Spring Shinjuku Park experience. Super daming trees talaga, and tipong branches bend down to the ground – sobrang surreal and magical (wow hahaha). πŸ™‚

Hope to have another spring experience this year! <3
