What to wear for spring?
Skip the thermals, normal sweater / jumper would be enough. My usual outfit for spring would be a sweater / jumper and skirt (similar to what I’m wearing in the photo above). I also recommend bringing a jacket or a thin coat just in case it gets cooler at night.
Spring is the perfect season to visit Japan in my opinion. You’ll definitely enjoy the chill weather.
Tip: Bring a small umbrella. During the cherry blossoms peak, it always ALWAYS rains sadly.
Sanrio Puroland Ticket Discount!
Book your tickets from Klook to get a discount. I remember spending ¥3,000 for entrance tickets at Puroland. I was totally unaware that you can get it for only ¥,2050 at Klook, save your money for cute snacks and souvenirs. My fave is their cute soy doughnuts.
Sanrio Puroland is located at Tama Center (Station – Odakyu Line). I was (and now secretly) a big fan of Hello Kitty since I was little. Hello Kitty shower, gold-plated earrings, towels, cups, saucers, clocks, spoons, forks, bags, pencils, stationeries, name it I got it. So definitely visiting Puroland is a dream come true. I’ve always been wanting to go and by luck, my friend from Manila visited and going to this mini Hello Kitty world is on their itinerary. We took a bus from Shinjuku but you can easily go there by train. We heard so much people speaking in our native tongue. I guess I wasn’t the only one who’s dying to go there! Also if you love kawaii Japanese kids, you definitely have to go! Their level of kawaii-ness is unbelievable. I am so lucky to be on the same ride as them! I just have to say that my favourite attraction was Kiki Lala.
How to get there?
It’s only a 5-mins-walk from Tama Center Station via Keio Line.
【Via Keio Line: Central Exit / Via Odakyu Line: West Exit】
①Take the South Exit of Keio Tama Center・Odakyu Tama Center Station and walk straight toward Parthenon Tama.
②Turn left at the Okanoue Plaza cross.
③You will see Sanrio Puroland in front of you.
