Luster – My OOTD Story

The making of this outfit is somehow a coincidence. I accidentally scratched my nose and it bled on my way to an event so I thought I’d use my sunnies to cover it up. I had this pair months ago but I never use it outside the car till that day.

I love dressing up but I am more comfortable being a wallflower during events and this pair of sunnies could possibly attract some attention since it’s tinted thus I never wear it out. This is also the most millennial outfit I could wear (I guess). I’m usually wearing tita (aunt) fashion nowadays since it’s more convenient – I don’t have to buy lots of clothes, follow trends and at the same time it’s sustainable. Although sometimes it bores me so I’m experimenting with trends. In this outfit, the only *new* item that I got was the skirt which is also thrifted from Japan. The tee is a collaboration item by my favourite Korean artist Esther Kim which I already wore a couple of times (check my previous post with it here).

I was asked by Hayami if I have any suggestions for the “theme” of the photos and I chose “luster” / 光沢 / Kōtaku. You know me, all my blog themes are my moods.

“You’re a diamond dear, they can’t break you.”

A gentle reminder.
