Christmas at Crosswinds Tagaytay

Hi guys! So sorry for the long hiatus, I wasn’t feeling so well this past few months (I’ll post more details about this soon!) but here’s a short post why you should spend your Christmas or your upcoming holidays at Crosswinds Tagaytay.

If you’re looking for places to go this holiday season, I highly recommend Crosswinds Tagaytay. It has that Baguio vibes without traveling that far. Tagaytay is much closer to Manila. During December to January, the weather is a little bit cold in the morning and at night. Perfect short escape from Sunny Manila.

Crosswinds boasts its 100-hectare land with around 20,000 pine trees which will definitely make you feel that “vacation vibe”.

Traveling with kids? No problem! They have a mini kiddie pool for your kids to enjoy. They also have a shuttle service from the hotel to their amenities such as this pool area and Christmas village. If you plan to go around on your own, you have to bring your car since the whole land area are full of uphills  which makes it hard for you to walk around on your own (trust me, I tried walking around).

The whole place is photogenic, definitely made with Pinoys who love taking photos in mind. For couples who want their prenuptial photos taken here, there’s actually a fee for that so please inquire first before doing so.

The houses here are all Swiss-inspired. They are all so nice to look at!

My favourite is their Christmas village but it was still closed when we visited. For sure if you go this Christmas, it’ll be up and pretty.

There’s also a shop near the front gate where you can buy some souvenirs. It’s decorated with a train and Christmas colours. You’ll also love taking photos here.

Here’s a preview of their family room with three bedrooms, living room and dining room. We only stayed at studio suite though (the photos are still stuck in my DSLR but I’ll share more once I get the photos). If you’re staying for more than a night, they actually have a stove, refrigerator, microwave, utensils which will all be convenient for your getaway. You can just buy your groceries and prepare everything there. This holidays, Tagaytay restaurants will be crowded so these kitchen items would be really helpful.

Their buffet breakfast is so good and filling! The day we went we had some chicken tocino and it tastes home-made. Noms! If I remember correctly, they also served fried rice and Filipino breakfast staples like champorado, danggit, scrambled eggs.

Visit Crosswinds Tagaytay this Christmas at Brgy. Iruhin Central Calamba Road (the opposite side of the usual busy Tagaytay). For reservations you can call, 02-8569601 or 0917-5696280. For more info, check

They wouldn’t let my family in. I’m still here now. How did you get in?
