Happy 2018! I feel so bad not being able to update as often! In my first post for this year, I’ll be sharing you my food cravings that could be found in Osaka! This is not a list of hole-in-a-wall places or of the best restaurants, this is a list of my own personal Osaka must-try. Hope you enjoy reading and getting hungry with me!
I know, almost every ramen in Japan tastes so good but Ichiran is the easiest choice. If you see a long line, it must be it. Haha!
7-18 Soemoncho, Chuo-ku, Osaka 542-0084
My favourite place to eat kushikatsu in Osaka! They have seats and you can share your meal with your companion. Some restaurants in Japan require you to order one of each and I’m not a big eater, I just want to try everything. (P.S. So happy they have a branch here in Manila)
10th floor, Lucua Mall, 3-1-3, Umeda, Osaka
Floresta Nature Doughnuts
For cute, yummy, hand-made doughnuts!
1 Chome-12-28 Shittenoji, Tennoji Ward, Osaka, 543-0051
Soup Stock Tokyo
Yes, they have a branch in Osaka! Aside from their delicious soup, they have an awesome set meals with brown rice and iced tea. Yum!
B1F Lucua Mall, Umeda Station
Tempura Tendon Tenya
Just like Sukiya, Tenya is one of those go-to cheap places where you can eat tasty food. I love their tempura sauce. If you’re in Japan, you have to try to find out since it tastes different in Manila.
2-1-3 Namba, Chuo-ku Osaka 542-0076
If you don’t know where to go, Ootoya is kind of your life-saver! Simple and yummy Japanese food!
5F Kintetsu Universal City (Universal Studios Japan), 6-2-68 Shimaya, Konohana-ku
Belgian Manneken Waffle
My sister’s favourite waffles – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside!
Osaka Station, 3-1-1 Umeda Kita-ku
If we have Jollibee, Japan has Mos Burger. I love that their burgers are so filling! I usually eat it with melon soda. NOMS!
Universal City Walk (Universal Studios Japan)
Pierre Herme Paris
My favourite macaron in the world! I always order pistachio and chocolate haha just because!
Mitsubishi Department Store, Umeda Station
KuKuRuZa Gourmet Popcorn
They have the best popcorn flavours! They have sea salt, raspberry, blue cheese – ahh! So good!
GF Lucua Mall, Umeda Station
Nana’s Green Tea
Although I’m not a big fan of their meals, I love their matcha parfait so much! I just have to get it every single time I’m in Japan. Perfect for green tea fans like me!
4F South Wing Grand Front Osaka, 4-20 Ofukacho Kita-Ku Osaka
When we stayed at Rihga Royal Hotel last July 2017, we had complimentary buffet breakfast here. We had a seat in a dome like room on our first day – atmosphere was so good! They also have a wide selection for breakfast – Japanese and Western.
Rihga Royal Hotel, 5-3-68 Nakanoshima Kita-ku, Osaka
