We went to Dinosaur Island Clark before the second lockdown in Manila so I think that was around February. Aki enjoyed it so much as heās into dinosaurs now. š¦
We didnāt book a ticket in advance so we paid their door price which was Php350 per pax and Aki got in for free. Kids 2 feet and below are free of charge. They measured Akiās height and heās kinda above 2 feet already at that time but they still let him pass for free. If you book online via Klook, Metrodeal or Traveloka, their 3-in-1 ticket (admission to Dinosaur Island, Insectlandia and Wonders of the World) is only Php 499 (rate as of June 10, 2021) and their 5-in-1 ticket (admission to Dinosaur Island, Insectlandia, Wonders of the World, Jurassic Jungle Safari and 7D Superscreen) is just Php 699. We didnāt avail it because we just wanted to focus on the dinosaurs first. Maybe on our next visit, weāll try the 3-in-1 ticket.

They also have a Dinosaur Island and Insectlandia 2-in-1 package promo that you can avail by the entrance for only Php560! āŗļø For 16 years old below, their door price is just Php300 just in case you donāt want to visit all the attractions in one day like us. We also paid additional Php100 for the Jurassic Jungle Safari (a ride with dinosaurs āchasingā you) which is inclusive at their 3-in-1 and 5-in-1 promo.
You also have to pay additional Php100 for the 7D Super screen and Wonders of the World if you werenāt able to avail the package.
We went around 3pm on a week day and there were 2-3 families with us that time. We were preparing to leave at around 4pm and we saw more people arrived around that time maybe because it was less hot. Theyāre open from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday by the way.

Aki was able to name the dinosaurs from afar. He was shouting āTyrannosaurus Rex!ā, āSpinosaurus!ā, āStegosaurus!ā and āTriceratopsā. Seeing him happy makes our trip sulit! š

They have food inside the park but we just ordered water and Buko juice. We just stopped at some gas station along the way and ate our food inside the car. š
Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort

We stayed at Hilton Clark on a different day but I think itās a good option to stay at if youāre going to Dinosaur Island and Insectlandia. Check in time is 3:00 pm and we arrived at around 4:00 pm so weāre in a hurry to use the swimming pool thus the lack of photos. Their pool is facing the sun during sun set so it was kind of an eye sore. Iām not sure if it was just me but I find it really annoying. They also have playground and kidās club so itās a perfect staycation option for kids. For the kids club, itās only open from Wednesday to Sunday and you have to do an advance booking. Unfortunately, we werenāt able to avail it.

We didnāt avail their breakfast meals but we ordered from Jollibee via Grab Food. You just have to pick it up the lobby. Their food selection is kind of limited but their pancit (Php500+) is really good! We also tried their pizza (Php 600) , pasta (Php 600) and fruit shake of the day – guava something (Php 400 / glass) but theyāre all just so-so. Not worth it for the price range.
We stayed from Sunday to Monday and it was kind of packed so I donāt really suggest going there on a weekend.
