Diaspora Farm Resort

Hi everyone!

Justin is now working on American time with his new company now and it’s giving us a free Monday off. He’s working till Saturday morning and his day off is until Monday morning. We tried to break free and went out to breathe fresh air on some Mondays but most of the time we’re still just staying home. I don’t even do groceries anymore, we just order them online. Just a disclaimer cos you know the online world is a harsh place. Haha!

If you’re looking for a place that allows kids to explore, I highly suggest Diaspora Farm Resort in Pampanga. They have activities like horseback riding, palitaw (or puto bumbong) making, etc. for kids. They also have organic farming 101 and other classes for adults. If you’re booking overnight, they won’t book any other group on the time frame that you’re there and same goes to their day tour. You won’t see anyone else aside from your group and their staff.

Here are their rates as of February, 2021:

Farm Tour – Php 150 per pax (kids included)

Palitaw / puto bumbong making – Php 150 per pax (kids included)

Overnight stay – Php6,000 for 4 pax (breakfast included)

Avilon Zoo and Pinto museum are also now open (but kids are highly discourage according to Pinto’s fb page). Also at Pinto museum, you can’t remove your mask EVEN WHEN JUST TAKING PHOTOS. You can ONLY remove your mask of you’re eating at their café. Just a little reminder for people who are visiting. 💙

Of course, it is still best to stay at home but if you’re living in a condo like us and have nowhere to go for fresh air, going to the farm without other people is the next best thing.
